We build our own products, and we build for other companies too. Agencies, larger software firms and product teams bring us in as their delivery team: embedded in your process, shipping fixed-scope projects, or building under your brand.
What does software outsourcing mean?
Hiring an outside engineering team to design, build or maintain software for you. You stay in charge of what gets built and why. They handle how.
You decide
What gets built, and why.
- The goals
- The priorities
- What counts as done
The team handles
How it gets built.
- Design
- Build and test
- Ship and maintain
We do this from Kathmandu, Nepal, for clients in Nepal and abroad. Some hire us directly for their own product. Others use us as the delivery team behind the work they sell.
A product company makes a different kind of outsourcing partner.
Most outsourcing firms only ever build to someone else’s brief. We also ship and run our own software, so we know what it costs to maintain what we write, and we build with that in mind for you.
Our own products, in production.

Running products means we live with our own architecture decisions, which shapes how we hand work over to you.
Your product, your roadmap, our engineers.
For agencies: the build team behind projects you sell, under your brand if you prefer.
For larger software companies: extra capacity or a specialist squad, working inside your process.
For product teams: an MVP or a major feature, built and handed over cleanly.
From a single feature to the whole build.
Whatever the model, the work falls into a handful of areas. Each links to what we build in that area.

ExploreThree typical shapes of an engagement.
These describe how engagements are usually structured. They are not named client case studies.
- AGENCY
You sold the project. We build it.
A fixed-scope build with paid milestones, delivered under your brand. Your client talks to you; we talk to you.
ModelWhite-label, fixed scope
- SOFTWARE FIRM
Your backlog outgrew your team.
Engineers join your standups, tracker and review process for as long as you need them, and scale down when you do not.
ModelDedicated team
- PRODUCT TEAM
You need an MVP, not a hiring plan.
A small first milestone, then expansion, then a clean handover of repositories and documentation to your own engineers.
ModelFixed scope, then handover
Why companies outsource
More capacity, sooner
Add engineers for a backlog or a deadline without a long hiring process.
Skills you don’t have in-house
Reach specialists, such as AI agents or data systems, for the length of one project.
Flexible headcount
Deliver client work or a product build without growing the permanent team.
Nothanding over control
You decide the goals, priorities and what counts as done.
Notthe same as hiring freelancers
You get a team with its own process, review and handover, not a single person.
Notautomatically cheaper
Rates may be lower, but what matters is cost per delivered outcome, and that depends on how well the work is scoped and run.
Three ways to work together.
They can be combined. We agree which fits during discovery, not from a rate card.
Engineers inside your process.
You are buying capacity. They work your backlog, your standups and your review rules. Best when you have technical leadership and need more hands, not a different way of working.

Step 1
Discovery
We agree the problem, constraints, what is out of scope and how you will judge the result.

Yes. Alongside work for direct clients, Zunkiree Labs takes on delivery for larger software companies, agencies and product teams that want an engineering partner rather than another hire. Roughly 60% of our clients are international.
Three, which can be combined. A dedicated team that works inside your process and backlog, fixed-scope project delivery with paid milestones, and white-label builds where the work ships under your brand. We agree which model fits during discovery rather than starting from a rate card.
Yes, where the contract provides for it. We can build under your brand and communicate with your client only through you. What matters is that ownership, confidentiality and handover terms are agreed in writing before work begins.
That is set in the agreement, and we expect it to be explicit before work starts: who owns the source code and IP on completion, where data is stored, and how handover works. Our standard position is that you own what you pay for.
Nepal is UTC+5:45, which overlaps with Europe, the UK, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and Australia. We agree one reliable daily or weekly decision window and keep written async updates so work does not stall between calls.
A discovery call, then a small first milestone with fixed scope and price. That first milestone shows how we estimate, communicate and handle review before you commit to anything larger.
